Blipsong is an independent, early-stage music guessing game. It is designed for a quick listening break: one shared daily challenge, or a few more rounds when a single song is not enough.

A deliberately small game

No account, leaderboard or subscription is needed. The first version focuses on short listening challenges, clear results and spoiler-free sharing. The interface and implementation are original; Blipsong is not affiliated with other music puzzle brands.

What is in the song pool?

Our catalog is prebuilt from artist searches in the US iTunes catalog, with album metadata retained and album diversity prioritized within each artist. It spans pop and rock favorites rather than every genre, country or generation. Unlimited remembers its draw history across sessions in the same browser. It avoids repeating the same artist/title until you have explored the available pool, then starts a new cycle. Clearing storage, private mode or changing browsers resets this history. Metadata availability is not a guarantee that every preview is available in your region.

Audio sources and disclosure

  1. No audio hosting: we do not store, re-host or offer downloads of songs or previews. The browser streams directly from the upstream preview URL; our server stores metadata only.
  2. Purpose: short listening exercises for music discovery and ear training. This does not establish a legal exception or imply educational-use permission.
  3. Official destinations: every revealed track includes its source Apple Music link and an official Spotify search link to discover the full recording.
  4. DMCA and rights requests: email dmca@blipsong.app with the affected URL, work, contact details and basis of your request. We will review and remove disputed content within 24–48 hours. A removed Daily is marked unavailable rather than silently replaced.

Blipsong is independent and not endorsed by Apple, Spotify or the artists. Source disclosure is not authorization: we have not obtained a separate license for interactive entertainment use of these previews. Read the audio sources and rights notes.

A tiny clip, on your device

0.1 seconds is a target length; the sound you hear depends on your device, browser and audio buffering. Longer clips give you more context from the same preview. This is a listening game, not a test of musical ability.
